"He's your dream co-star. I have never felt so creatively satisfied on a film," Mendes told Marie Claire magazine in an interview, reports dailymail.co.uk.
The couple, who continue to thrive despite recent break-up rumours, met on the set of The Place Beyond The Pines last year.
