Trainspotting 2 announces Jan 2017 release in new teaser video

Danny Boyle’s sequel to the 1996 cult classic Trainspotting, T2, is set to release in January, 2017.

A teaser video was released to mark the announcement with footage from the original film, reported Digital Spy.

The video is dubbed-over with what looks like an updated version of Renton’s (Ewan McGregor) iconic ‘Choose Life’ monologue.

Filming of the project helmed by Danny Boyle has already started.

The movie will see most of the major cast returning, including McGregor, Ewan Bremner, Jonny Lee Miller and Robert Carlyle.
