Vera Farmiga joins Robert Downey Jr. in The Judge

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Vera Farmiga, seen in Up in the Air and Source Code, will star alongside Robert Downey Jr., Robert Duvall and Vincent D'Onofrio.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Vera Farmiga, seen in Up in the Air and Source Code, will star alongside Robert Downey Jr., Robert Duvall and Vincent D'Onofrio.

The Judge will tell the story of a famous lawyer who returns to the small town where he was born to attend his murdered mother's funeral. He discovers that his father, the town judge, is the prime suspect for the murder and will do everything he can to uncover the truth.

Vera Farmiga, who is currently starring in the series Bates Motel, will play a waitress who has never left her hometown. She will become close to the lawyer. Robert Duvall will play Robert Downey Jr.'s father and Vincent D'Onofrio will play his older brother.

The Judge will be filmed in Boston and directed by David Dobkin (Wedding Crashers).
