The accident occurred at 3am on Saturday.

The minors took the cars from their fathers to go for a fast drive. While coming down from the elevated flyover, the three cars speeding over 150 km per hour, lost control and rammed into each other.

One of the boys driving an Innova car hit the median on the left side of road, and met with instant death as his head snapped off.

Another Innova veered to right and jumped over a two-feet median and hit a milk canter coming from the opposite side. Although the driver survived unharmed, the axle of the canter broke.

The deputy commissioner of police for traffic and the additional commissioner of police (CP) for traffic have visited the scene.

A first information report (FIR) was booked against the minors for driving without a driving licence, and their fathers.

While the minor drivers have been remanded to Madiwala Juvenile Remand Home till September 21, the parents have received bail.
