Twenty eight people were arrested after stones were pelted and black flags shown during Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s yatra on Sunday. Nobody was injured in the incident that occurred at Patpura and Mayapur, both in Sidhi district, on Sunday night.

“Eight persons were arrested for pelting stones at the CM and 20, including women, for showing black flags,” Rewa zone IG Umesh Joga said.

MP BJP media in-charge Lokendra Parashar said a window pane on the driver’s side was damaged. The CM and the BJP indirectly blamed opposition leader Ajay Singh. “Not a single Congressman is involved... this is a conspiracy,” Singh said.
