Caught on Camera: Bengaluru accident horror and child’s miraculous escape

The child’s parents fell off the two-wheeler after colliding with another two-vehicle while trying to overtake it.

A child escaped unhurt travelling nearly half a kilometre on a driver-less motorcycle after his parents were thrown off on busy highway near Bengaluru, video footage showed.

According to footage of the Sunday afternoon incident, recorded on the dashboard camera of motorist Karthik Gowda and widely shared over social media, the child’s parents fell off the two-wheeler after colliding with another two-vehicle while trying to overtake it.

However the motorcycle continued travelling for at least 300 metres, missing cars and a truck on the busy road before veering right and stopping after hitting the central verge.

While the child was unhurt after he fell on the grass, passers-by rushing to his aid found his parents were injured.
