CJP Meeting Today LIVE: On the Cockroach Janta Party's (CJP) "School Theek Karo" campaign, Chief Spokesperson Saurav Das said the country's youth had "awakened" and urged political leaders to pay greater attention to schools, colleges and healthcare.

"The youth of the country have awakened; they are out on the streets," Das said, urging those in power to "stop engaging in childish antics" and focus on basic necessities.

He highlighted the lack of proper roads connecting children to schools, saying roads often disappear into mud during rains, making it difficult for students to reach their classrooms.

"How, then, is the country's future supposed to get an education?" he asked.

Das also called on BJP MPs and MLAs, as well as opposition leaders, to join young people in auditing schools.

"If young people are going to audit schools, you should go along with them," he said, adding that such participation would help build trust among the youth and show that leaders were "handling matters maturely".

"We simply want the system to improve," Das said.

CJP Meeting Today LIVE: The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), which has made the condition of government schools a key focus of its ongoing campaign, wrote to all state governments on Monday, seeking data on school infrastructure, teacher vacancies and funding over the past five years.

In identical letters addressed to education ministers, CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke said visuals circulating on social media showed that many children still lacked basic facilities such as safe drinking water, functional toilets, proper classrooms and even benches.

"It has been 80 years since India gained Independence...No child in this country should be forced to study in such conditions. They are being treated worse than animals," Dipke wrote.

CJP Meeting Today LIVE: The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has called for a nationwide peaceful protest march in New Delhi on September 5, alleging that the Government of India has failed to fulfil commitments made to young people on July 25, following which nationwide youth protests were withdrawn.

According to a press release, the march will begin at India Gate and proceed towards the New Delhi Police Headquarters. The protest will be led by families of deceased NEET victims and victims of alleged police brutality, with students, youth organisations and young citizens from across the country expected to participate.

The decision to call the protest was unanimously taken at a meeting of the CJP national working committee. The meeting reviewed the progress made by the Centre and BJP/NDA-ruled states in implementing assurances made to the youth.

The party said the September 5 march is being organised to draw attention to what it described as the government's failure to honour those commitments.

“On 18 August, the Supreme Court repeatedly asked the Union Government to provide a list of FIRs registered across the country so that the Court could consider quashing them together, at one go, making the commitment easiest to fulfil. Yet, the Government refused to give a clear commitment to do so. The written assurance from the Government to the CJP is also due.”

“For a month now, instead of implementing what was solemnly promised, the Government has played delay games, hidden behind technicalities, and avoided giving clear commitments even before the Supreme Court of India,” the statement read.

CJP Meeting Today LIVE: Cockroach Janta party spokesperson Saurav Das stated he has "full faith in the Delhi High Court" after the HC issued a notice to Abhijit Mitra, X, Google over the alleged disclosure of his residence on social media platforms.

"I had filed an injunction suit also seeking ₹2 crore in damages from certain persons and organisations that were running fake news and all kinds of propaganda against me and invading my private life. It's a right-to-privacy suit. The Delhi High Court took up the matter. Platform X has already taken action against, I think, all of these tweets proactively, " Das told PTI.

"We hope that the right to privacy of everybody, not just me, will be protected by the High Court, as it has already protected several others, including Prime Minister Modi's degree and everything else that has been protected in the past. So, I'm sure the right-to-privacy application will also succeed in that manner. We have full faith in the Delhi High Court," he added further.

CJP Meeting Today LIVE: Following founder Abhijeet Dipke's open letter to state education ministers over the budget for government schools, the Cockroach Janta Party has called on all concerned ministers to answer their questions.

“We expect the Education Ministers of every state to answer these questions and make the information public. India’s future depends on the education we provide to our children. It’s time for governments to treat public education as the priority it deserves,” the pressure group wrote on X.

CJP Meeting Today LIVE: The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has announced that its National Working Committee will meet on August 24 to decide its next course of action.

The announcement comes after the outfit raised concerns over the Central Government’s alleged failure to fulfil commitments made to the country’s youth, including assurances regarding the withdrawal or quashing of FIRs registered against students and protesters, as well as compensation for the families of deceased NEET victims.
