Congress MPs meet over parliament agenda ahead of poll setback discussions
Hours before the crucial talks over the poll setback in five states, several Congress MPs met at 10 Janpath on Sunday morning to discuss the agenda of the parliament session which will resume on Monday. The party is set to raise the concerns over medical students returning from Ukraine, issues of unemployment and inflation, and a minimum support price for farmers' produce. "We held a discussion on the issues to be raised in the upcoming parliament session. We will try to raise the issues of inflation, unemployment, MSP for farmers and medical students returning from Ukraine," MP Mallikarjun Kharge was quoted as saying by news agency ANI.
Apart from Kharge, the leader of the oppposition in Rajya Sabha, Congress MPs Jairam Ramesh, Anand Sharma, and K Suresh were among those who met Sonia Gandhi at her residence, news agency ANI reported.
