Dehradun: Tourist swept away while bathing in waterfall at popular tourist spot

A tourist from Delhi drowned while bathing at the Sahastradhara waterfall here on Sunday, according to the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF).

This is the second such death at the popular tourist spot this month.

The SDRF said upon receiving information, a team immediately reached the site and launched a search operation.

The tourist's body was recovered near the Pandavwala Bridge, approximately 2 km away from the Sahastradhara waterfall.

The deceased has been identified as Nauth Ram (50).
