Former Hamirpur MP Bikram Singh dead
Major General Bikram Singh (retd), who was also the former member of Parliament and chairman of the Himachal Pradesh Ex-Servicemen Corporation, died on Tuesday in Solan.

Major General Bikram Singh (retd), who was also the former member of Parliament and chairman of the Himachal Pradesh Ex-Servicemen Corporation, died on Tuesday in Solan.
Chief minister Virbhadra Singh and governor Acharya Dev Vrat mourned Bikram’s demise. They expressed sympathy with the bereaved family members.
The chief minster said Bikram gave his valuable services as an army officer as well as a Lok Sabha member, adding that he represented the Hamirpur Parliamentary constituency, besides welfare of soldiers and ex-servicemen.
“He also worked for the development of the entire constituency,” he added.
