Man ‘kills’ wife, seals her body in plastic bag and dumps it on roadside in Hyderabad
The woman’s mother has complained that the accused was an alcoholic and used to harass her daughter, police said.
A man allegedly killed his 30-year-old wife, sealed her body in a plastic bag and dumped it on the roadside in Hyderabad, police said on Monday.
Locals alerted police after noticing blood stains on the bag which was sealed using adhesive tape.
Police said the deceased was identified as the wife of Hyder.
Dabeerpura Police Station Inspector D Venkanna Naik said Hyder, who is employed in Dubai, came to the city a week ago.
He visited his wife who was staying at her mother’s house and both of them left two days ago.
When both of them did not return till Sunday, her mother informed police, the inspector said.
With the help of family members, the woman’s body was identified and they accused Hyder of killing his wife, police said.
The woman’s mother complained that Hyder was an alcoholic and used to harass her daughter, they said.
Police said they were married ten years ago and have three children.
A case of murder has been registered and a search is on for the man, who is absconding, the inspector said.
