MP minister slams Rahul Gandhi over his ‘shop of love’ remark: ‘Saw hatred…’
On Monday, Rahul Gandhi called his Bharat Jodo Yatra a 'Mohabbat ka dukaan' (shop of love) amid an existing 'nafrat ka bazaar' (market of hatred).
Madhya Pradesh home minister Narottam Mishra on Tuesday slammed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his “opening shop of love” remark. Referring to the political turmoil in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, the minister said, “Rahul Gandhi saw hatred between Kamal Nath and Digvijaya Singh in MP, and between Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot in Rajasthan”.
“He should forget about the shop, they will not even let you open a 'gumasta' (license)”, he told the media, as quoted by news agency ANI.

On Monday, Gandhi called his Bharat Jodo Yatra a 'Mohabbat ka dukaan' (shop of love) amid an existing 'nafrat ka bazaar' (market of hatred) while responding to the BJP leaders who questioned him for conducting his foot march.
"I am opening 'Mohabbat ka dukaan' (a shop of love) in 'nafrat ka bazaar' (the market of hatred). This is my response to BJP leaders who ask why I am doing this yatra," Rahul Gandhi said in Alwar, Rajasthan while addressing a rally.
He added that his “mohabbat ka dukaan” is not something new as all Congress leaders including Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Sadar Patel, BR Ambedkar, and Maulana Abul Kalam Azad had also done the same opening "shops of love" during the freedom struggle.

"You may hate me and badmouth me, your market sells hatred while my shop sells love," Gandhi added.
The ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ campaign - which began in Kanyakumari - will reach Delhi from Haryana on December 24. Later, after a break of nine days, the yatra will resume on January 3 from Delhi.
