OROP suicide: Autopsy conducted, body handed over to family
Lady Hardinge Medical College Director Jagdish Chandra told IANS that the post-mortem was conducted late night on Wednesday and the body was handed over to the family.
The post-mortem of Ram Kishan Grewal, the army veteran who committed suicide over implementation of one rank one pension policy, was conducted late night on Wednesday, hospital authorities said.

Earlier, he had said that the post-mortem could not be done till Wednesday late evening as Grewal’s family could not be contacted.
“However, after requisite formalities, the autopsy was done which concluded around 10.30 pm. The body was then handed over to the family of the deceased,” he said
The body of Subedar Ram Kishan Grewal (retired) was shifted from the Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital to Lady Hardinge Hospital for the post-mortem on Wednesday morning.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who went to Lady Hardinge on Wednesday evening, was detained and driven to the R.K. Puram police station in south Delhi along with minister Gopal Rai. He was released around midnight.
Earlier, other political leaders, including Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi and Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, visited the RML Hospital to meet Grewal’s relatives but both of them were detained and released later in the evening.
