Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday interacted with the new team of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s national office-bearers at the party headquarters and said such deliberations are all about fresh ideas and perspectives aimed at strengthening the party.

“Organisational meetings are all about new ideas and perspectives aimed at strengthening the Party and deepening connect with the people. Great interaction with fellow Party colleagues and the new organisational team!,” the PM said in a post on X.

The PM shared insights and perspectives to further strengthen the party’s organisation and deepen its connect with the people, a party functionary aware of the details said.

New candidates, nationalism and ‘Vande Mataram’

The BJP on Monday announced a list of 65 new office bearers, who also had their first closed door meeting with the party president Nitin Nabin.

According to a person aware of the details, the party chief is learnt to have told the team members that they will keep the focus on nationalism and hit the ground running in poll-bound states of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Manipur and Goa.

“The party passed a resolution on honouring the history and legacy of Vande Mataram and it will launch a campaign on the ground to expose the Congress and their appeasement politics that has forced the party to disrespect the National Song,” said the functionary quoted above.

Nabin also told his team that their positions in the party will not reduce their responsibilities as a karyakarta (worker) and they will all need to work with same fervour and zeal.
