Soldier injured in Pakistan shelling at LoC in Jammu

An Indian soldier was injured on Saturday morning as the Pakistan Army resorted to unprovoked shelling and firing on the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Police said the Pakistan Army resorted to heavy mortar shelling and firing in Mendhar sector of the LoC.

“Pakistan shelling started at 5am and continued till 6.30am Indian Army retaliated effectively using same calibre weapons,” the police said.
