The decision was taken after Yadav displayed ‘commitment’ for a hygienic lifestyle despite battling tragedy. Fifteen members of her family, including her brother and grandfather, had died in a road accident last Friday.

“As the girl had shown courage to move on with her life , I enquired about her well being. At first she was hesitant but then said that her new house did not have a toilet. We appreciated her commitment for a healthy life,” stated Etah DM Amit Kishore.
