India started Day 3 well, as Sri Lanka were dismissed for 183. Ravichandran Ashwin was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up a five-wicket haul. Virat Kohli duly enforced the follow on. and it looked like Sri Lanka might be dismissed yet again on the same day after Umesh Yadav picked up the early wicket of Upul Tharanga. However, Kusal Mendis and Dimuth Karunaratne put on a brilliant partnership, with Mendis even getting a 100. Even after Mendis was dismissed by Hardik Pandya, Sri Lanka didn’t look troubled.
