12-yr-old killed in Ghaziabad

A 12 year-old boy was brutally murdered, while resisting an attempt of sodomy, by a cleaner in a place of worship in Ghaziabad on Thursday, police said. The minor had left home around 12 noon on Thursday.

A 12 year-old boy was brutally murdered, while resisting an attempt of sodomy, by a cleaner in a place of worship in Ghaziabad on Thursday, police said. The minor had left home around 12 noon on Thursday. “When he did not return after a couple of hours, his mother went to look for him,” assistant superintendent of police (ASP) Amit Verma said.

When she reached the place of worship, she heard loud shrieking. “Inside, she saw the accused coming out of a room with blood on his hands. The accused managed to escape,” Verma said. The boy was in a semi-naked condition and his throat had been slit, Verma said.
An FIR has been lodged and the police are looking for the accused.
