15 shops and a residential house gutted in fire
Fifteen shops and a residential house were gutted in a fire in Khari market of Banihal tehsil in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday, police said in Jammu.

Fifteen shops and a residential house were gutted in a fire in Khari market of Banihal tehsil in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday, police said in Jammu.
The fire started from a shop and later engulfed 15 shops and an adjoining house of Abdul Rashid at Khari market in Banihal past midnight, they said.
Locals and police rushed to the spot along with fire tenders, which doused the fire at around 0400 hours on Friday.
However, there was no loss of life or injury to anyone in the incident, they said.
The cause of fire and loss to the property was being ascertained by the concerned agencies, police said.
