Nepal police have arrested two Indians who were trying to smuggle narcotics from Kathmandu to the Indian state of Haryana.

Devendra Singh, 37, and Santosh Singh, 26, residents of Uttar Pradesh, were arrested on Sunday in southern Nepal while trying to smuggle out 42-kg of hashish through the Sunauli border checkpost, Nepal's official media said on Wednesday.
The drug was hidden in the Maruti van they were travelling in.
The men would be charged under the Drugs Control Act, the police said.
