A 25-year-old married woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan in her house in Sheetla Enclave on Tuesday evening.
A 25-year-old married woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan in her house in Sheetla Enclave on Tuesday evening.
According to police, Rachna Singh, mother of a five-year-old girl child, ended her life out of frustration.
Her husband Sunil Kumar, who works with a pharmaceutical company in Gurgaon, admitted that their relations were not on good notes.
Rachna was staying with her husband and daughter in Sheetla Colony for a year.
The couple were not happy with each other and had regular fights, police said.
Parents of the deceased have filed a police complaint against Sunil.
“My daughter was not happy. She often told us that Sunil did not treat her well,” said Ram Singh, the deceased’s father.
Crime branch of Gurgaon police has sent samples to a forensic lab.
The body will be sent for post-mortem examination on Wednesday.
