3 hurt in OGP-BJD clash

Three persons were injured in a clash between supporters of the Orissa Gana Parishad and BJD in Garadpur block of Kendrapara distt.

Three persons were injured in a clash between supporters of the Orissa Gana Parishad (OGP) and BJD at Gaudagan village in Garadpur block of Kendrapara district of Orissa this morning, police said.

Two of the injured had been shifted to the S.C.B.Medical College Hospital at Cuttack for treatment.

A house and a motorcycle were also set ablaze during the clash, police said.

OGP President Bijay Mohapatra and BJD's Atanu Sabyasachi are locked in a fierce battle in the Patkura assembly constituency of which Gaudagan forms a part.
