3 Nagaland University student drowned in Goa

Three Nagaland University students who were in Goa for the New Year festivities drowned at Colva beach.

Three Nagaland University students who were in Goa for the New Year festivities drowned at Colva beach in south Goa, police said.

Vilasietvo (21), Zajamo (22) —both boys — and a girl student Ajungla (23) drowned last evening after being pulled in by the waves, police said.

Their bodies are were still to be traced.

These students were part of the 54-member Nagaland University — comprising 49 students and five lecturers — group which was holidaying in Goa.
