After the results were announced yesterday, Kori said he has realised his dream which he could not fulfill earlier due to poverty and responsibilities that fell on him after the sudden death of his father.

Kori, who was twice elected MLA from Salon on BJP ticket and had been a minister for social welfare in 1997, had appeared in the examination as a private candidate from Baijnath Inter college in Pratapgarh. He later joined the Congress in 2009 and is presently the state general secretary of the party.
