"We have arrested a total of 92 persons till now including 73 from the MNS and 19 from the SP for indulging in violence, which started on Sunday afternoon," Joint Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) KL Prasad told PTI.

More arrests are expected and police teams are already working on leads, he added.

Prasad had pegged the total number of arrests in the city at 33 on Monday evening.

Meanwhile, there was no major incident of violence reported in the city since Tuesday morning.

MNS supporters had been targeting North Indians in the city and other parts of the state since February 3 following MNS chief Raj Thackeray's criticism of Amitabh Bachchan for choosing Uttar Pradesh over Maharashtra for his girls' college.
