He said though his brother Rudal Singh was in no way connected to the attack on Jungle Kauria block pramukh Brijesh Yadav, police had arrested him.
Gorakh Singh also said Yogi Adityanath would be responsible if he came to any harm.

Talking to mediapersons here, he said his family members had no connection with the bomb attack on the Jungle Kauria block pramukh.

He further said police had arrested his brother Rudal Singh in connection with the attack. He claimed Rudal was innocent and had been working in a field when the incident took place.

To a question, he said he was closely associated with the late Omprakash Paswan’s family, the archrival of Yogi Adityanath in the Jungle Kauria area of Gorakhpur district.

Gorakh Singh demanded security for himself.

Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party district secretary Rajnish Yadav and other leaders condemned the bomb attack. They asked the district administration to
check recurrence of such incidents.

They expressed concern over “harassment of a few innocent people”.
