Adventure sports held

JUNOON ADVENTURE Sports Academy on Sunday organised one-day rappelling and other adventure sports activities in Kerwa forests for the students of Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM).

JUNOON ADVENTURE Sports Academy on Sunday organised one-day rappelling and other adventure sports activities in Kerwa forests for the students of Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM).

In all, 40 students of IIFM, including 12 girls participated in the adventure sports activities. According to Yog Chinmay Dutt of the Junoon Academy various activities like rappelling, treasure hunt, magic knot and environment education were organised.

The activities began with rappelling on the 120 ft hill. “Though the students found it a bit scary to begin with, they began enjoying it as the expert team of Junoon motivated them,” said Yog. The expert team of Junoon Academy, including Noopur Gupta, Juhi, Neha, Ravi, Ankit and Kamal gave important tips to the students on the various aspects of adventure sports.

Later a questionnaire on different aspects of environment provided to the participants and asked to answer them. Dhananjay, Kaustav, Manisha, Varun, Arjun, Parul, Kanika and Sakshi participants of the adventure sports activities appreciated it.
