AG Phadke selected for Dhanwantri Award
The urologist has been selected the recipient of the 35th Dhanwantri Award for medical practitoners.

Urologist and kidney transplant surgeon AG Phadke has been selected the recipient of the 35th Dhanwantri Award for medical practitioners.
Phadke is a pioneer in kidney transplant surgery and has contributed over 100 research papers on his subject. He will receive the award at a ceremony on October 15, a release said in Mumbai on Thursday.
Past recipients of the award include South African heart transplant pioneer Christian Bernard, it said.
