"Both JMM and AJSU enjoy power in the BJP-headed government. So they should share equal responsibility with the Arjun Munda government. They can't be mute spectators to the death of civilians in police firing,” Ahmed told a news conference here.

Ahmed evaded a direct reply when asked if he would speak to JMM chief Shibu Soren in this regard, saying, "Dialogue do happen with every one, even with the opposition parites."

Condemning the killing of four people in Dhanbad's Matkoria on Wednesday and two in Ranchi's Islam Nagar on April 5 during an anti-encroachment drive, he wondered how the government could demolish dwellings of families who had been staying there for 20 to 50 years.

The AJSU, which was earlier known as, All Jharkhand Students Union, has been affiliated as AJSU Party by the Election Commission during the 2009 assembly elections in Jharkhand.
