The owners claim to be descendents of Nabbu Mian, the man who’s believed to have introduced Kakori Kebabs to Lucknow. It may be a sales spiel, but the kebabs are as good as they can get this side of Lucknow – glazed with fat, these kebabs are impeccably textured to melt in the mouth, yet taste meaty. The spicy Reshmi Kebabs are just as good. Taken together, these two lift this place way above the ordinary. Dining is al fresco; the Warqi Paranthas are addictive; and the service is fast, good and unfailingly friendly.
