Andheri twin murder: Cops off to UP

A police team has been dispatched to Uttar Pradesh to arrest the accused for the murder of elderly couple in Andheri. The police have identified three people who conspired and executed the plan, reports Shahkar Abidi.

A police team has been dispatched to Uttar Pradesh to arrest the accused for the murder of elderly couple in Andheri. The police have identified three people who conspired and executed the plan.

On Thursday, the bodies of Charan Kundnani (80) and his wife Kamla (69) were found in their first floor flat of Nityanand Society in Andheri. Their servant Amit Kumar has gone missing since the incident and is suspected to be the prime accused.

The police learnt that the Amit was employed with a security agency, BSS. “Amit also used nurse the couple,” said senior inspector Pradeep Suryavanshi of Andheri police station.

The police said Amit fled to UP with the cash and valuables.
