About 15 top doctors were among those arrested on Friday during anti-quota protests in the city, police said.

The medicos, holding protests on behalf of Indian Medical Association (IMA), and led by Dr Ashis Kumar Tiwari of Bombay Hospital, were arrested when they were on way from Wilson College to the Chief Minister's residence at Malabar Hills, they said.

The arrested doctors included Dr Lal Malani (urologist) and Dr BM Saraiya (surgeon), they added.
