Members of Forum of Indians against Reservation (FIR) said Sri Sri Ravi Shankar had convened an anti-quota meeting on Thursday where students from various institutions would share their views on how to fight the government proposed quota hike politics.

Besides, in a change in their strategy, members of FIR decided to conduct a mess campaign in which they would visit every mess at the hostels in the IIT-K and mobilise students against reservation.

Talking to Hindustan Times, a member of the FIR said, “We want to consolidate our base first before going for an all out battle. For this, we at the institute mess would interact with fellow students. As most of the under graduate students are on summer leave, we would get their E-mail ID and seek their opinion on reservation.”
