Arjun Singh hospitalised in Chandigarh

Singh had arrived on Sunday night and was scheduled to inaugurate a building of the CBSE at Panchkula.

Union Human Resources Development Minister Arjun Singh is unwell and has been hospitalised at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), CBSE chairman Ashok Ganguly said on Monday.

Singh had arrived in Chandigarh on Sunday night and was scheduled to inaugurate a building of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) at Panchkula, Ganguly told reporters at the function.

In the absence of the Union HRD minister, the Haryana education minister Phoolchand Mullana inaugurated the building.
