On a tip off, a joint operation was launched by Rashtriya Rifle troops and police at Dudu Basantgarh area of Udhampur district on Thursday, they said, adding a hideout, where militants had dumped arms and ammunition, was recovered by them.

The recoveries from the hideout included two AK-47 rifles, one 303 rifle along with 29 rounds and one hand grenade, they said.

Search operation was on in the area to track down the militants, the sources said.
