Actress Asin, who debuted in Ghajini, has bagged another film opposite actor Salman Khan, after featuring with him in London Dreams.

A source reveals that Asin has come on board for the Anees Bazmee film, which is a remake of hit Southern film Ready. Rumours had it that actress Deepika Padukone was in contention for the role. Sources also reveal that Salman was instrumental in helping Asin bag the project.

It may be recalled that the two grew quite close on the sets of London Dreams, and even kept in touch once the shooting for the film ended. There was also buzz that he had helped her get an apartment in Mumbai.
