B'desh remembers martyrs on the eve of I-Day

Bangladesh's founder Sheikh Mujibur Rahman proclaimed independence on March 26 and the nine-month war ended in victory on December 16 with Bangladesh emerging as an independent country.
Candle light vigils are being organised along with special prayers for the martyrs, many of them unknown.
Bangladesh celebrates its 36th Independence and National Day on Sunday.
