Bandra house broken into

The Kherwadi police have registered a case of house break-in against an unidentified person who decamped with cash and valuables collectively amounting to Rs 2,85,100 on Thursday.

The Kherwadi police have registered a case of house break-in against an unidentified person who decamped with cash and valuables collectively amounting to Rs 2,85,100 on Thursday.

The police said the incident took place at around 3 pm. When Eklavya Bhave (33), a resident of MIG Colony located in Bandra (E), returned from work around 8pm he found the lock broken. The gold and silver jewellery were missing. The American and Singapore currencies had also been stolen.

Bhave, who is from Chattisgarh has been staying at his relative’s house for the past one year.

“We have registered a case of house breaking theft,” said police sub-inspector D S Taral of Kherwadi police.
