BDR recovers huge cache of arms from Bandarban

Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) on Thursday recovered huge quantities of arms, ammunition, explosives and bomb-making substances from a hideout of Myanmar's terrorists in southeastern Naikhonchori of Bandarban hill district, BDR officials said.
A BDR patrol team raided a camp of insurgents belonging to Rohyanga Solidarity Organisation of Myanmar at about 12.30 hrs local time, the sources said.
The seizure included one heavy machine gun, three M-16 rifles, one AK-47 SMG, one AK-43 rifle, one SMG, one 303 rifle, one I-Com reciever set (Wireless), one solar battery charger, five binoculars, 3,000 rounds of bullet, one rocket launcher shell, one mine-fixing tool, about 200 kg gun powder, huge quantity of bronze coil, 40 detonators and 40 sodium nitrate explosives.
No one was arrested in this connection, the sources said, adding further details were awaited.
