State-run Bharat Earth Movers Ltd plans to invest Rs 1 billion in a joint venture in Brazil for manufacturing rail wagons, the company said on Monday.

It said the Brazilian company, Compagnie Comercio E Construcoes, would hold 40 percent in the joint venture with the remainder being held by BEML.
