Sai, who is contesting on a BJP ticket against the chief minister from Marvahi reserved constituency, has dashed off a letter to the CEC raising doubts over free and fair elections in view of alleged "gross misuse of government machinery by Jogi".

Raising doubts about "fair and peaceful elections in Marvahi", Sai in his letter, copies of which were released to the media here, listed alleged "unfair means" adopted by Jogi.

Sai has accused Renu Jogi, wife of the chief minister and Raipur-based government employee, of canvassing for the congress in Marvahi.

The opposition leader has accused Renu Jogi of distributing blankets, sarees, shawls, silver ornaments, wristwatches and other articles to lure the voters.
