BJP opposes appointment of Habibullah as head of J&K SIC
The BJP strongly opposed appointment of Wajahat Habibullah as head of the State Information Commission (SIC) and demanded that the post be held by someone residing in the state.

The BJP on Wednesday strongly opposed appointment of Wajahat Habibullah as head of the State Information Commission (SIC) and demanded that the post be held by someone residing in the state.
"Why is the coalition government headed by Omar Abdullah seeing through kaleidoscope when it comes to the appointment of incumbents on key posts in the state? Why the government cannot look through transparent lenses and find a person within the state among the populace of more than 1.20 crores," state BJP chief Ashok Khajuria said in a statement.
He said BJP will take every step to thwart such move of the government.
