BJP to launch nationwide agitation over Justice Sagir report

BJP will launch a nationwide campaign against the recommendations of autonomy for Jammu and Kashmir by the Prime Minister's Working Group on "Centre-state relations" headed by Justice Sagir Ahmed, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said here on Sunday.

"We reject Justice Sagir report recommending autonomy for Jammu and Kashmir. The report is a farce and against the interest of nationalists," Chouhan said at a function organised by the Panun Kashmir.

He said his party would soon launch a campaign across the country against the Justice Sagir report and fight tooth and nail against grant of autonomy to Jammu and Kashmir.

He said Jammu and Kashmir was an integral part of India and no power could weaken its bond with the country.
