Bodies of Indians killed in Bahrain fire arrive today
Special arrangements are being made to bring back the bodies of 16 Indians.
Minister for Overseas Indian Affairs Vayalar Ravi on Sunday said special arrangements are being made to bring back the bodies of the 16 Indians who died in a fire tragedy in Bahrain.

The bodies would be brought to the city by Monday, he told reporters in Chennai.
He said seven persons had been admitted to hospitals and two of them were in a critical condition.
"I have told the Indian mission officials in Bahrain to take very good care of the injured," he said.
At least 16 Indians, all of them from Tamil Nadu, died and 11 injured in the fire mishap in Manama. The deceased, hailing from Villupuram district, had gone to Bahrain for construction work.
Ravi said he and the Minister of State for External Affairs E Ahmed had got in touch with the Indian Ambassador to Bahrain Balakrishna Shetty and asked for full details about the mishap.

Following are the names of 16 Indians:
Raja Vellu, Raja, Balusamy, Poomalai, Muthuvellu, Senthil, Shiva, Kannadasan, Chinnadurai, Shivaprakashan, Palaimuthu, Kumar, Muthalan, Raja Ratnam, Subramanian and Shankar.
