Bomb lobbed at Manipur engineer's house

A powerful bomb was lobbed at the residence of the Public Works Department chief engineer at Singjamei Chirom Leikai area in Manipur's Imphal West district, police said on Thursday.
Unknown persons hurled the bomb at the residence of the PWD chief engineer, NG Rashtrapati Singh, on Wednesday night.
No casualty or damage was reported, the police said.
Meanwhile, the police detected another bomb at Rim road under Lamphel police station in the same district on Thursday.
A bomb disposal squad has rushed to the spot, the police added.
