An anonymous caller telephoned Pullareddy Sweet House located on the Begumpet main road at about 1 pm and informed that a bomb was planted inside the shop, which could go off any moment, police said.
Immediately its management informed police, which swung into action with bomb disposal squad and sniffer dogs. The entire shop was thoroughly searched and the call turned to be a hoax, police said.
Today's bomb hoax call was fifth one after the explosion in the mosque on May 18, which claimed 11 lives and injured over 50.
