Book on kidney ailments released
A book on renal ailments and precautionary steps titled ?Kidney Se Parichay? was released by Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College Dean Dr V K Saini on the occasion of World Kidney Day yesterday. An awareness programme and a book release function were organised to mark the occasion by Kidney Disease Awareness Group.

An awareness programme and a book release function were organised to mark the occasion by Kidney Disease Awareness Group.
At the awareness programme the functions of kidney, its ailments and the cure were explained to the gathering in the presence of Bhaiyyu Dada.
The book has been written jointly by nephrologist Dr Rajesh Bharani and urologist Dr Pankaj Maheshwari - both of Bombay Hospital, Indore. The book explains in simple language how to take care of this most important human organ and the diseases afflicting it.
The doctor duo presented the topics in layman terms. An interesting question-answer session was highlight of the evening. Pradeep Purohit conducted the programme.
