Upset over his mother's scolding, a 13-year-old boy committed suicide in Uttarakhand.

Abhishek bunked school on Friday and roamed around with friends. When his mother came to know about it after he returned home at Bhabar area, she scolded him, SDM A K Nautiyal said.

After some time when she went to see him, she saw froth oozing out from Abhishek's mouth as a bottle of insecticide lay beside him, Nautiyal said.

Abhishek was taken to hospital, where he died, he added.
