Cancer awareness programme held at Holy Family Convent
A CANCER Awareness programme was organised on the premises of Holy Family Higher Secondary School recently. Dr N Ganesh from Dr Jawaharlal Nehru Cancer Hospital and a team of doctors visited the school and conducted a general check up of students.

Student from classes IX to XII were examined and some important tips regarding cancer was given to them. Dr Ganesh in his speech emphasised on correct diet, disciplined life and to avoid wearing light outfits. He also warned students about the bad effects of Chinese and fast food and benefits of taking fruits, vegetables and pulses in their routine diet.
He gave detailed information about different types of cancer and their early symptoms, which was of great benefit to all. A heartfelt thanks to Dr Ganesh and his team for their selfless service was given by school principal Rev Sr Roseline Jose.
