City plunges into darkness for 40 minutes

Sources in MP Western Region Electricity Distribution Company informed that there is possibility that new load shedding plan may be enforced soon and it is possible that commissionery headquarters may come in its ambit. There is likelihood of this load shedding continuing further also.
Details of this plan will be known tomorrow only after the office of Company opens. Talking to Hindustan Times over the phone MP Western Region Electricity Distribution Company Superintending Engineer KS Vyas said that message of one-hour power cut was received from Jabalpur power system hence the load shedding. However, its reasons are not known.
